I want to invert the colors of an image when the mouse rolls over the image using Javascript. I do not want to use Image Rollover as it will increase the load time.
I am building my first website...so I am not really good at Javascript codes.

I was under the impression that using a Javascript program will make the website to load faster than using images with CSS sprite...which method is faster in this case? Point is...my site already has a lot of images...so I am really concerned about the load time.
Soh Tanaka has a great tutorial for this. You need to use your imagination for this one a little because its more complex than you might think.
