Using Spongycastle with Proguard

Question

I've been strugling with proguard to make Spongycastle work. Most of the time, the problem comes when I'm exporting a signed APK, either I've got error, or the app will just crash before starting.

So, I've managed to gather informations to get a working proguard configuration :

I'm running ADT Version: 22.0.0.v201305140200--675183 The test phone is under Android 2.3.5

The part that borrows me is the "-keep class org.** { *; }" .... Am I doing it right ? I've tried "-keep class org.spongycastle.** { *; }", but the app just crash before startup...

We added

-keep class org.spongycastle.**
-dontwarn org.spongycastle.jce.provider.X509LDAPCertStoreSpi
-dontwarn org.spongycastle.x509.util.LDAPStoreHelper

But we now run into the problem that we hit the DEX method limit of 2^16 with that lib. We only need it for the MD5 and SHA-1 algorithms as some phones don't ship those.
