How can I use homebrew cask to install Sublime Text 3? I only see sublime text 2 in the repos. I even tried tapping homebrew/versions, but no luck.

Weird how I will struggle with this for days, post on StackOverflow, then figure out my own answer in 20 seconds.

Turns out now
brew cask install sublime-text
installs the most up to date version (e.g. 3) by default andbrew cask
is now part of the standardbrew
-installation.I originally used this page to solve the same problem in the past - however it would appear as if the
sublime-text
cask has been updated to now be the most recent release ofSublime Text 3
. No workarounds are necessary anymore.Installation is as simple as
brew cask install sublime-text
.I did not have
brew cask
