How do I get the day of the week as a string?

This way it works in Swift:

    let calendar = NSCalendar.currentCalendar()
    let weekday = calendar.component(.CalendarUnitWeekday, fromDate: NSDate())

Then assign the weekdays to the resulting numbers.
