The Chinese Brands Day will be celebrating its third birthday on May 10. It was initiated by the State Council in 2017, aiming to raise public awareness about Chinese brands domestically and globally, nurturing more independently-owned brands as well as accelerating brand economy.

安克 Anker
专业从事充电技术的Anker可谓是墙内开花墙外香的代表。虽然许多国人并没听说过这个牌子,但它在国外可谓大名鼎鼎,是欧美和日本最受欢迎的智能数码周边品牌之一。
Anker最开始是以充电宝打响的知名度,但旗下的USB充电器、数据线材、蓝牙耳机、蓝牙音箱、手机保护支架等产品也都十分畅销。
Anker is ranked 10th in the "2019 BrandZ Top 50 Chinese Global Brand Builders" report by advertising holding company WPP, research firm Kantar Millward Brown and U.S. giant Google. The brand has been listed in the report for the third consecutive year. In 2017, Anker sold over 20 million chargers to Europe, the U.S. and Japan. In 2017, the company's revenue increased by 56 percent to 3.9 billion yuan. Nearly half of Anker's revenue comes from the United States.
Though not many Chinese people are familiar with the brand, it's got great influence overseas. On Amazon, many Anker products are labeled as "Best Seller."
在亚马逊网站上一搜,不少Anker的产品都占据着热门前列,甚至登顶Best Seller。2017年,Anker向欧洲、美国和日本销售了超过2000万个充电器,公司收入同比增长了56%,其中近一半来自于美国市场。
2019年3月,全球最大广告集团WPP集团与凯度发布《2019年BrandZ中国出海品牌50强报告》,Anker连续三年登榜,这次排名第10。
今年4月,苹果美国官网刚刚上架了一款新的充电宝,就来自Anker。这个中国品牌在美国的影响力可见一斑。
青岛啤酒 Tsingtao Beer
想不到吧?青岛啤酒也在“最受歪果仁欢迎的中国品牌”中占有一席之地。
著名海外资讯自媒体博主“我是郭杰瑞”在2018年专门出过一期视频,细数在美国最有名的五个中国品牌,其中就有青岛啤酒。
作为土生土长的美国人,他在微博里回复道,虽然很多粉丝认为老干妈才是中国人的舌尖精髓,但“好多美国人怕辣!”,直接限制了这位“中国女神”的传播。
对比而言,啤酒更容易融入西方人的生活。不少歪果仁在社交平台上分享青岛啤酒的测评,表达对它的喜爱。对于很多歪果仁来说,Tsingtao Beer正成为他们心中最地道的中国味道。
Tsingtao beer is another Chinese brand with a considerable amount of global fan base. Popular YouTuber Jerry Kowal introduced Tsingtao as one of the top five renowned Chinese brands in the U.S. in his 2018 video.
Tsingtao is strongly recommended by many beer lovers on social media from across the world, many even commented that they love Tsingdao more than their own local brands.

大疆无人机 DJI
在“我是郭杰瑞”同期视频中,中国品牌TOP1即是大疆无人机(DJI)。以老美对大疆机的热爱程度,它简直可以被称为无人机领域的“苹果手机”!
2018年5月,美国零售行业市场研究公司NPD集团发布了一份无人机的市场报告,显示美国无人机销量在过去一年中翻了三倍。其中,中国大疆科技已经占据了北美一半的无人机市场。
这个在深圳土生土长的科技企业,被《华尔街日报》称为“首个在全球主要的消费产品领域成为先锋者的中国企业”。大疆创新副总裁徐华滨 2016 年接受采访时曾透露,大疆 70% 的销量来自海外。全球民用小型无人机市场,大疆就占了约七成,客户遍布全球100多个国家。
DJI, Chinese technology company headquartered in Shenzhen, is a world leader in creating and manufacturers unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), commonly known as drones, for aerial photography and videography. In May 2018, the U.S. retail industry research company NPD Group released a market report for drones, showing that U.S. drone sales tripled in the past year.
DJI earned two-thirds of the total U.S. drone market revenue, becoming a world leader in commercial and civilian drone industry and accounting for over 70 percent of the drone market, Xu Huabin, vice president of DJI, revealed in an interview in 2016. The Wall Street Journal called DJI as "the first Chinese company to become a pioneer in the world's consumer products."
字节跳动 ByteDance
根据《2019年BrandZ™中国出海品牌50强报告》显示,字节跳动因将旗下的TikTok(抖音)、TopBuzz(今日头条海外版)、News Republic等产品推向多个国家和地区,首次入围就斩获第五名佳绩。
以全民爆火的抖音为例,产品于2016年9月上线,用两年的时间完成了日活1.5亿的突破。从奶茶到美食,从音乐到品牌,从草根到大v,都星火燎原般通过“抖音15秒”一夜蹿红。2017年以来抖音获得用户规模快速增长并以国际版“Tik Tok”为名出口海外,其下载和安装量曾在美国市场跃居第一位。
据抖音产品负责人王晓蔚2017年9月2日表示,“截至2018年7月,该应用程序已被150多个国家的超过5亿全球用户下载。”
ByteDance is a Chinese Internet technology company operating several machine-learning content platforms. It was named among the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in China in 2018 by Fast Company. Other than its core product TopBuzz (Toutiao), TikTok (known as Douyin in China), which was launched in September 2016, has become a very popular app to create, recreate and share short videos online.
The application allows users to create short music videos of three to 15 seconds. Initially featuring music and dance, Douyin has expanded its scope with more diverse content, such as food, culture, family, and travel. It is a leading short-video platform in Asia, the U.S., and other parts of the world.
The application gained popularity and became the most downloaded app in the U.S. in October 2018. It has 500 million monthly active users worldwide and has spread to more than 150 countries and regions.
