what plugin should be used for selenium ide in fir

问题:

I am trying to install selenium ide in firefox. For this, I have downloaded selenium ide add on and installed it. When I clicked in the icon, a dialog box is shown as in snapshot.

When I closed it, a page opens showing we should download plugins for the ide. When I try to install latest, it says, it is not compatible. Also, when It try to install other versions, its says incompatible. I have installed ide and one plugin as follows, but still it's not working.

What plugin shall I use to run Selenium ide in frefox? Any help would be appreciated.

Firefox 54 is the latest Firefox version supported by the IDE.

But the normal installation button is grayed out as for some reason the IDE is marked here as compatible with Firefox up to 34 only - even so it works just fine in Firefox 54.

Solution:

1. Visit the Firefox Selenium IDE website using Chrome

2. Download the XPI (since you visit with Chrome, the page allows the xpi download)

3. Drag the XPI on the Firefox 54 window - done!

Or alternatively: Switch to the new Kantu Selenium IDE. This IDE is a Chrome extension and uses the new webapis and maybe it is already sufficient for your purposes.
