I have MySql5.5 and some up to date php version running on a shared host webserver of 1and1.
I put phpMyAdmin-4.6.3 on my webspace.
I browse there with Firefox 41.0.1 with local storage turned off and javascript allowed in Noscript.
On nearly every action an error message appears right in the middle of the screen so it's not even possible to just ignore it though the just called phpmyadmin page or executed command seem to work! The error message reads:
There was a problem accessing your browser storage, some features may not work properly for you. It is likely that the browser doesn't support storage or the quota limit has been reached. In Firefox, corrupted storage can also cause such a problem, clearing your "Offline Website Data" might help. In Safari, such problem is commonly caused by "Private Mode Browsing".
A TERRIBLE user interface mishap!
How could I turn off this message? I don't want local storage used at all. Just turning it off would be enough already.
I already cleared "offline website data" often.
I could not find any solution on phpmyadmin: At least searching for the exact error message did not yield a result.
I will not turn on local storage capabilities in my browser, and after reading some other questions here on stackoverflow about this same error I doubt it's neccessary. (Those others questions are not duplicates, as as far as it seems the users don't have local storage turned off in their browser; and the given solutions were not explaining, not working in genereal or just a reinstallation which I can't do.)
