How to add payment integration with Google Docs Ad

I have a Google add-on for which I will like to release a paid version.

There are plenty of add-ons which has a paid version so I know it is possible.

However what is the way to start collecting payments from within Google Docs add-ons? Which external providers can we use? Is it possible to collect payment on the website and somehow verify it in the add-on?
