OpenShift Tomcat Processing Annotations Error Depl

2019-06-26 19:08发布

问题:

I updated a java war on open shift and after the update the app won't start. When I looked at the jbossews log file I found the issue but I can't duplicate it outside OpenShift. It's woking fine on tomcat locally.

I get a series of processing errors until the app runs out of heap space:

What am I missing here??

回答1:

So, to answer my own question, the issue appears to be with the latest version of javassist. We updated to the latest version as part of the last update, 3.19.0, and it looks like it's not compatible with Tomcat on OpenShift.Once I downgraded back to 3.17.1 all worked fine.

Just as a note to any OpenShift staff, it would really help if issues like this can be highlighted on the OpenShift support pages. Javassist 3.19.0 has been around for 5 months on maven and I can't imagine we were the first to encounter this issue.

回答2:

This problem is confirmed fixed in the Tomcat 7.0.56 changelog.

See this question for more info: Tomcat 7 Annotation scanner and JDK 8 with -parameters compiler flag exceptions

Javassist 3.19.0 used java8 compiler argument -parameters

回答3:

By looking at this message "jar:jndi:/localhost/cope/WEB-INF/lib/javassist-3.19.0-GA.jar!/"

It seems an issue with your classpath. Use relative path instead of absolute path. For e.g. /lib/javassist-3.19.0-GA.jar

回答4:

For my project I fixed this issue by exclusions:

It might help you.

      <dependency>
            <groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
            <artifactId>hibernate-core</artifactId>
            <version>5.1.0.Final</version>
            <exclusions>
                <exclusion>
                    <groupId>org.javassist</groupId>
                    <artifactId>javassist</artifactId>
                </exclusion>
            </exclusions>
        </dependency>

回答5:

Find dependency that require org.javassist

mvn dependency:tree shows (eg. spring-boot-starter-thymeleaf)

[INFO] \- org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-thymeleaf:jar:1.4.1.RELEASE:compile
[INFO]    +- org.thymeleaf:thymeleaf-spring4:jar:2.1.5.RELEASE:compile
[INFO]    |  +- org.thymeleaf:thymeleaf:jar:2.1.5.RELEASE:compile
[INFO]    |  |  +- ognl:ognl:jar:3.0.8:compile
[INFO]    |  |  +- org.javassist:javassist:jar:3.20.0-GA:compile (version managed from 3.16.1-GA)
[INFO]    |  |  \- org.unbescape:unbescape:jar:1.1.0.RELEASE:compile
[INFO]    |  \- org.slf4j:slf4j-api:jar:1.7.21:compile
[INFO]    \- nz.net.ultraq.thymeleaf:thymeleaf-layout-dialect:jar:1.4.0:compile
[INFO]       \- org.codehaus.groovy:groovy:jar:2.4.7:compile (version managed from 2.4.3)

that dependency comes form spring-boot-starter-thymeleaf exclude it and add dependency with version supported on your environment

<dependency>
    <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-thymeleaf</artifactId>
    <exclusions>
        <exclusion>
            <groupId>org.javassist</groupId>
            <artifactId>javassist</artifactId>
        </exclusion>
    </exclusions>
</dependency>
<dependency>
    <groupId>org.javassist</groupId>
    <artifactId>javassist</artifactId>
    <version>3.17.1-GA</version>
</dependency>

Test if it works fine with downgraded version.

回答6:

You can add skip jars to the scan. Just go into the file "catalina.properties" in the path nameRepository/.openshift/config/ of you repository. And searh the section tomcat.util.scan.DefaultJarScanner.jarsToSkip

At the final of this section add the name of your jar for example javassist-*.jar
